Saint Paul Academy was founded by Faith Church on May 9 1990, on the basis of the possibilities provided by a new legal framework then taking effect, to safeguard the liberty of conscience, freedom of religion, and education. The Academy is to educate theologians and ministers in Hungary and in the whole region. That is why it was named at the foundation Central-Eastern European Bible School and Pastor .s Training Institute.
